Welcome,
Call me Neb, please.
I am an eccentric creative from the Columbus, Ohio. Lifelong experimentation in various creative outlets as a form of healing, meditation, and self-journey. I enjoy the unusual, the eccentric, and the avant-garde.
Life and Art are close siblings as one often is the attempt at becoming or creating the other.
The creation of experiences and stories are arts in themselves.
Subtleties can be found in places least expected. Fellowship in conversation, sharing thoughts, sharing in a game, all of it adds to the story.
The play is the thing? No?
Photography
Having grown up with a camera in hand, a little wide format 110 fixed aperture with the odd maybe functional flash cube. I didn’t quite understand how finite time was yet, but did understand the importance of capturing the moments in which we exist.
A fascination existed but wasn’t even a remote exploration until I was barely an adult.
In that time I’ve had the pleasure of experimentation in technique, themes, the meld of theater and photography, and of course shot the odd wedding or three.
I welcome you to explore my photography and see through my eyes.
2D & Digital Media
I’ve had the pleasure of designing fliers for in game and community events within FiveM and look forward to sharing them with you.
The kind of creativity from some of the event organizers, effing insane, and I loved working with them.
In other lights, I dabble in various forms of ink, paint and drafting, when the fancy strikes. Though, most of it winds up in template form for other hobbies, what I can share I do.
Multi-Class Crafting
While growing up I had a liking towards making dumb traps, catapult, and random stuff out of wood.
Later my attentions took towards dismantling televisions, computers, etc. Always saying I’d do something with the parts.
Well, while its 30 years later, I’m still creating whatever I feel. Leather? Wood? Metal? (soon?) Sometimes the least technology makes for the best works. In either case, If I feel a connection to the material and the design, I will try to bring it to life.
While it is harder to craft with age and wear, my hope is that I can continue creating wonders, either magical or not…
